The brief
Create a new, modern looking website to showcase some of the costumes stocked, that's easy for people to use and generates more enquiries.
Harlequin is a long established business and had a very old and slightly tired looking site. The business needed to generate more enquiries via the web, and utilise their amazing collection of costumes to show the quality of what they provide.
What we did
We had a good chat with owners about the shop, where they got their business and what they wanted to achieve.
On investigating past results it was clear the old site was only really performing on search engines in a very narrow way, so we set about recommending ways of making the new site work for 'Fancy Dress' as well as 'Costume Hire' along with more specific costume name keyword searches too.
We then provided a site map and structure for the new site and then a choice of designs. The final site was delivered with:
- CMS
- Site search facility
- Google location map
- Contact form
The results
Within Harlequin's Bristol based location we have improved their page one position for the phrase 'Costume Hire' and achieved new page one positions for 'Fancy Dress' and 'Corporate Costume Hire'.
The site has received many comments from customers on its clean look, and importantly enquiries are up.
